BRINGING HIS DESIGN AND CULINARY EXPERTISE into play for a "dream" consultation project, Chef David Sterling puts the finishing touches on everything from soup to nuts in a new Mexican restaurant chain in Germany.
When an American businessman living in Munich first contacted Sterling for the project of a lifetime, he thought it was a miracle. And in fact, that is the name he chose for the new restaurant chain: "Milagros."
Sterling and crew were retained to develop everything for the restaurant from the ground up: concept, name, identity, menu, recipes, interior design, even staff training.
The theme of the restaurant is "Modern Mexican Kitchen", and the concept is reflected throughout the interior and the menu. Traditional Mexican motifs are balanced with bold contemporary colors; and classic Mexican dishes are tweaked to please modern palettes.
