ONE DAY CHOCOLATE INDULGENCE
An indulgent day of chocolate will cure all ills. This special class is for those enamored of this “food of the gods” but who have a tight travel schedule. Your exhilarating day will include a historical overview of cacao; instruction in the kitchen preparing chocolate from raw nibs; an excursion to a real cacao plantation and Maya chocolate museum; a visit to the magnificent Maya archaeological zone of Uxmal, considered the region’s most beautiful; lunch at a typical restaurant; and a stop at the popular chocolate empire Ki’Xocolatl in Mérida where the intoxicating aromas will tempt you for more indulgence! 8:30am - 4:30pm. Minimum class size: Groups of 2 or more
Historical overview presented by Chef Mario Canul; workbook with recipes from the class; a souvenir Los Dos apron; continental breakfast; full afternoon meal with one alcoholic beverage; all transfers, listed excursions and entry fees; all taxes.
